Help for Helpers

Anxiety, relationship difficulties and burnout are especially common problems for helpers—people who live out of an unusually strong drive to give to and take care of others.

Many people operate as helpers in their family relationships.  Some function this way in both their professional and personal lives, often at great cost to themselves.

If this sounds like you, there's a good chance you have trouble getting your own needs met.  You may also have some history of loss, trauma, or neglect.

In relationships, you likely avoid conflict at almost any cost, and feel frustrated or guilty very often.

Over time, living this way will leave you feeling lonely and exhausted at best, hopeless and withdrawn at worst.

I can help you make simple but profound changes to turn this pattern around.
